Measured Building, Topographical & Condition Surveys
Strata North undertakes measured building and topographical surveys for architects, designers, property professionals and private clients, providing accurate site measurements and detailed drawings to support planning, design and construction projects.
Our measured surveys record existing building layouts, dimensions, elevations, site features and ground levels, allowing us to produce detailed floor plans, building elevations and site drawings.
We also undertake pre-construction surveys and building condition surveys, assessing the existing condition of properties and structures. Our surveys identify visible defects, areas of deterioration and potential concerns, supported by detailed written reports, photographic records and recommendations where appropriate.
In addition, we provide post-construction surveys and as-built drawings, recording completed works to provide an accurate record of the finished project.
Drawings, survey information and reports can be supplied in a range of formats, including PDF, DWG, DXF, CSV, PNG, JPG and SVG, allowing information to be shared and incorporated into CAD software, design packages and project documentation.

How quickly can you undertake a survey and provide drawings?
Timescales depend on the size and complexity of the property or site. We’ll confirm availability and an estimated turnaround when providing your quotation. Because we used smart software, we can usually turn drawings around within 2 working days post survey.
What information do you need to provide a quotation?
Usually, a property address, brief description of the building or site, and the level of detail to be included in the drawings or survey information. Existing plans, photographs or a site location plan are also helpful.
Can the survey be tailored to our specific project requirements?
Yes. We can agree the survey scope, level of detail and drawing requirements in advance, ensuring the information provided is appropriate for your project.
